Since opening our doors, HONE&CO has been on quite a ride. We’ve grown our team of best hairdressers, built a loyal community of clients here in North Sydney, navigated a full salon move in the middle of it all, and we are stronger, prouder, and more committed to what we do than ever.

What Are the AHIA Business Awards?
The AHIA Business Awards are Australia and New Zealand’s most prestigious hair industry business recognition platform, created by Mocha Group. Now in its 13th year, the program received over 300 entries in 2026 and is judged by an independent panel of more than 30 national and international judges spanning the hair industry, media, PR, business, finance, and leadership. Newcomer of the Year celebrates salons that have made an extraordinary impact in a short time, and being named among the finalists is something we are immensely proud of.
Winners will be announced at the AHIA Business 2026 Gala at The Star Brisbane on Sunday 18th October 2026. We’ll be there, dressed up and cheering, and we’ll make sure to share the news with you all.
